You have the right to select the repair facility of your choice.

If you are in an accident or collision in the state of California, state law dictates that you have the right to select the repair facility of your choice. An insurer cannot require, direct, suggest or recommend that your vehicle be repaired at a specific shop unless you request a referral. Never get pressured into having your car repaired by your insurance company or at the first repair shop your vehicle was towed to. Toyota Carlsbad Collision Center will work with your insurance company to get you and your vehicle back on the road, no matter your provider! Should you get an estimate from your insurance company that is lower than ours, just bring in the lower estimate and we will go over the differences with you. If necessary, we will notify your insurance company of any changes that need to be made. Generally this just takes a phone call and we will bill your insurance company for the supplement at the completion of the repair.
