Each trim level of the 2020 4Runner is powered by a muscular 4.0-liter V6, pumping out 270 horsepower and 278 pound-feet of torque. Rear-wheel drive is the standard, but four-wheel drive is available for every trim. Hill Start Assist Control and Downhill Assist Control give you an assist when your environment isn't of the flat variety.
What sets each trim level apart is the equipment. For Example, the base trim, SR5, includes skid plates and a power outlet in the cargo area. The SR5 Premium adds a scenic sunroof.
